IronWill Football Performance Camp January 29-30, 2011. Post Camp Review

camp-review

January 29-30, was the start of the IronWill Football Performance Camp Campaign for 2011.

The slogan of this first camp was” Leave everything on the field. Out work your opponent, EARN EVERYTHING ”

IronWill Football performance camp has developed a reputation of demanding the most out of their athletes and expect everyone to give more than just 100 percent effort. All athletes came to camp prepared to work. The pace of the camp was very fast and all athletes did well adjusting.

I was pleased with how the older athletes stepped up as positive role models for the younger athletes.

We ran various position skills sessions and it was great to see the overall improvement of each camper over the two day period.

The coaches did a great job instructing and teaching the fundamentals of each position. We were stressing the importance of paying attention to detail. We believe that to have longevity in football your technique must be sound.

We implemented a new teaching session which was to identify the land marks on the football field to help improve football intelligence. The athletes really enjoyed these sessions as it gave them a chance to ask questions and learn new football terminology.

Overall the first IronWill Football Performance Camp of 2011 was a success; it was very pleasing to see our wide range of players evolve over one weekend.

I would like to thank the coaches and support staff for the outstanding job over the weekend!

I look forward to seeing everyone in the future.
