IronWIll Football Camp Post Camp Review–Febuary 13-14 2010

news-photoFor some campers this was the first camp, but for some of you, your second or third. It was amazing to see so many new campers as well as return campers! Thank you for your continuous support and leadership through out the IronWill Football Camps.

I was very impressed with the effort that each and every athlete gave during the camp. At first the campers were a little hesitant with the pace of some of the drills. But with time, their confidence along with mental and physical strength persevered. They found the strength within to push themselves to the limits.

All coaches did a fantastic job in teaching the fundamentals of football, the specifics of each position along with practising proper techniques. Coach Woodley did an outstanding job testing the campers limits with a series of conditioning drills. Everyone should be proud of themselves for the hard work.  It was nice to see everyone step up and except the challanges that we gave them.

Each athlete had the chance to take part playing a different position. It’s great to learn the role of your teammates and how they contribute. On day one we focused on offense, the second day; defense. All the basic fundamentals in football were covered.

The first IronWill Football Camp of 2010 was very intense, but I am pleased to see the amount of football players that are egar to learn and become better athletes.

Look forward to seeing everyone in the near future.

Coach Burris
